	H - Engine
		Designed for Best-In-Class fuel efficiency, for locomotive application. The H-Engine prime mover delivers the performance the railroad industry has been waiting for.

	Auto Start
	As part of EMD's drive toward Environmental Excellence, we have develped the EMD Automatic Engine Start/Stop. This system, which can be applied to all EMD locomotives equipped with the EM2000 locomotive control system, automatically monitors the locomotive during idle operation and will safely stop and re-start the diesel engine to conserve fuel and reduce exhaust emissions and noise.

	Radial Truck
		A major innovation in diesel-electric locomotive suspension that reduces operating expense and increases adhesion capability. Allows 6-axle locomotive use in areas that normally allow only 4-axle trucks.

	FIRE System
		The FIRE platform is designed to offer true and simplified integration of cab electronics, providing for future growth at an attractive cost. Current and future cab electronics can be easily integrated into the system, without the need for additional black boxes.
